About Plastic Flowers

Two people living in similar, but separate realities, fall in love when their houses become one through inexplicable circumstances.

A man and a woman living in separate, but almost identical houses, are brought together when their realities collide and they found themselves in the same living space, separated only by a thin semi-translucent wall. Without being able to communicate with each other, they must find what this intrusion means to them, why they crave to connect even though it seems impossible. While they, at times, seem to even occupy the same space, they are as alone as one can be, isolated from anything besides their own perspective. It is only by acknowledging one another that they are able to breach the wall that divides them, as the dreamlike setting they inhabit is but an extension of themselves, their wants and limitations.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

"Lily kneels in the middle of the living room, holding onto one of the white sheets, the only one left. The sheet spread out on the floor around as if it had spilled from her.

She holds the sheet tighter."

INT. TREVOR'S BEDROOM - NIGHT

"The RAIN is almost over. Trevor TYPES and CLICKS away on his laptop. His desk has as much stuff on it as Lily’s, but less intentional. There seems to be a chaotic system to it, but only Trevor would understand it."
